The Hermitage Club, is happy to announce the hire of Drew Anderson as the new Head Golf Professional for the 2016 season.
“We are happy to welcome Drew to the Hermitage Team, and we look forward to his leadership of The Hermitage Golf Club this coming spring,” said Hermitage Founder and President Jim Barnes. “He has made great contributions to The Hartford Golf Club, and we look forward to having his expertise in Vermont to serve golfers at The Hermitage.”
Drew comes to The Hermitage Club from The Hartford Golf Club where he was the First Assistant PGA Professional for the past two years. In that position, he helped manage hiring, developed scheduling and instituted policies and procedures, including a pace of play system. Drew established sales goals, forecasted additional revenue streams and projected sales for the golf retail operation. Throughout his 2 seasons at Hartford GC, Drew instructed more than 200 hours of private and group lessons including ladies clinics, junior camps and other player development programming.
Prior to his experience at Hartford GC, Drew was an Assistant Professional at Sankaty Head Golf Club, The Misquamicut Club, Jupiter Island Club, Point Judith Country Club and Highland Country Club.
Drew and his wife Stephanie recently relocated to the area with their infant daughter Catherine and all are enjoying the quintessential Vermont life that the Deerfield Valley has to offer.
